Surah 94 – Ash-Sharh (الشرح)
Meaning: Expansion of the chest / relief
Arabic
أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ
الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ
وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَب

क्या हमने आपका सीना खुला नहीं कर दिया?
और आपसे आपका बोझ उतार दिया,
जिसने आपकी पीठ तोड़ रखी थी।
और हमने आपके लिए आपका ज़िक्र बुलंद कर दिया।
निश्चय ही कठिनाई के साथ आसानी है।
बेशक कठिनाई के साथ आसानी है।
तो जब आप फारिग हो जाएं तो इबादत में लग जाएं।
और अपने रब ही की तरफ़ रुचि रखें।
English Translation
Did We not expand for you your chest?
And remove from you your burden
Which had weighed upon your back
And raised high for you your mention.
Indeed, with hardship comes ease.
Indeed, with hardship comes ease.
So when you finish your duties, stand for worship.
And turn to your Lord with longing.

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ

कसम है अंजीर और जैतून की,
और सीनाई पर्वत की,
और इस सुरक्षित शहर (मक्का) की।
हमने इंसान को बेहतरीन रूप में पैदा किया।
फिर उसे सबसे नीचे गिरा दिया।
सिवाय उन लोगों के जो ईमान लाए और अच्छे काम किए।
उनके लिए कभी खत्म न होने वाला बदला है।
English Translation
By the fig and the olive
And by Mount Sinai
And by this secure city
We created man in the best form
Then We returned him to the lowest state
Except those who believe and do righteous deeds
For them is an unending reward.

और तुम क्या जानो क़द्र की रात क्या है?
क़द्र की रात हजार महीनों से बेहतर है।

English Translation
Indeed We sent the Quran down in the Night of Decree.
And what will make you know what the Night of Decree is?
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord.

लोग अलग-अलग निकलेंगे ताकि उनके कर्म दिखाए जाएं

When the earth is shaken with its final earthquake
And the earth discharges its burdens
And man says, “What is wrong with it?”
That Day it will report its news
Because your Lord has commanded it
People will depart separately to be shown their deeds
Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it
And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.

Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?
Did He not make their plan go astray?

Surah 106 – Quraysh (قريش)

لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ
إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ

And made them safe from fear.
Surah 107 – Al-Ma'un (الماعون)

أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ
فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ

Have you seen the one who denies the Judgment?
That is the one who repulses the orphan
And does not encourage feeding the poor
So woe to those who pray
But are heedless of their prayer
Those who show off
And refuse small kindnesses.
Surah 108 – Al-Kawthar (الكوثر)

إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ

I do not worship what you worship
Nor are you worshippers of what I worship
Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship
Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship
For you is your religion and for me is my religion.
Surah 110 – An-Nasr (النصر)

إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ
وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا
فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ
إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا

When the help of Allah and victory comes
And you see people entering the religion of Allah in crowds
Then glorify your Lord with praise
And seek His forgiveness
Indeed He is ever accepting of repentance.
Surah 111 – Al-Masad / Lahab

تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ
فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ

अबू लहब के हाथ टूट जाएं और वह नष्ट हो जाए।
उसका माल और कमाई उसके काम नहीं आएगी।
वह जल्द ही भड़कती आग में डाला जाएगा।

उसकी गर्दन में खजूर की रस्सी होगी।

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he
His wealth will not benefit him nor what he gained
He will burn in a blazing fire
And his wife as well

Around her neck is a rope of twisted fiber.
Surah 112 – Al-Ikhlas
Translation

कह दो वह अल्लाह एक है
अल्लाह सब से बेनियाज़ है
न वह पैदा हुआ और न उसने किसी को पैदा किया
और कोई उसका बराबर नहीं।

Say: He is Allah, One
Allah the Eternal
He neither begets nor is born
And there is none comparable to Him.
Surah 113 – Al-Falaq

कह दो मैं सुबह के रब की पनाह मांगता हूँ
उसकी बनाई चीजों के बुराई से
अंधेरी रात की बुराई से
गांठों में फूंक मारने वालों की बुराई से
और हसद करने वाले की बुराई से।

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
From the evil of what He created
From the evil of darkness when it settles
From the evil of those who blow on knots
And from the evil of the envier when he envies.
Surah 114 – An-Naas

लोगों के बादशाह की
लोगों के माबूद की
